Adebayo graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile -Ife with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Fraud Examiner, and a System Auditor. He started his professional audit training at Z. O. Ososanya and Co. Chartered Accountants. From there he joined Oyelami Soetan Adeleke and Co Chartered Accountants now known as Bakertilly Nigeria. He left the practicing firm to join the banking industry as an Audit and Internal Control Officer. He worked in Metropolitan Bank, Citiserve Microfinance Bank, and later Union Bank of Nigeria Plc before joining Oak Pensions.
Adebayo has vast experience in the Audit and Internal Control function. As an external Auditor, he audited companies in numerous industries like Banking, manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, property development, etc. He also has over 20 years of experience in Internal Control and Internal Audit functions and fraud examination.
