He was appointed to the Board of Oak Pensions in April 2020 as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the Bayero University, Kano where he graduated in 1989 and also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the same University in the year 2004. He started his working career at the Kaduna State Board of Internal Revenue in 1990 before joining Nigerian Industrial Development Bank in 1991 as a Treasury Officer and then moved to FBN Merchant Bank in 1999 and was there until 2006 when he Joined Pensions Alliance Limited and rose through the ranks to become an Executive Director in 2013 before leaving in September 2019. In the course of his career he attended several local and International course such as Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania), Colombia Business School, London Business School, UK, Philips Consulting Executive Mgt Development Programme (University of Pretoria, South Africa) and Lagos Business School. Mr. Aliyu has expertise in the areas of: Leadership and People Management; Strategy Planning & Implementation; Investment Management; Budget & Cost Control; Marketing/Sales Design & Implementation and Revenue forecasting.
