A graduate of insurance from University Of Lagos. He holds Master degree in Marketing from Ajayi Crowther University Oyo. An Associate Member of Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, Member Portfolio Management Institute and a member of Nigeria Institute of Management. Akinwunmi joined Oak Pension Managers Ltd as the Head Business Development and Relationship Management in 2020. Prior to joining Oak pensions, he had a brief stint in the insurance industry and later moved to ARM Pensions Managers Ltd as a pioneer staff after the enactment of PRA 2004. He joined Sigma Pensions Manager Ltd in 2007 where he rose to the position of Zonal Manager. He won the prestigious Crest Star Of the year and was inducted into the Sigma Pension Manager Ltd Hall of Fame. In 2016 he joined Fidelity Pensions Managers Ltd as a Regional Managers in the Business Development and Strategy department. The position he held effectively for five years where he engineered and implemented the restructuring of the HNI clients team. The team was able to drive and attract HNI clients and as well enhance Customer Relationship Management. Akinwunmi is a seasoned marketer with over 16 years’ experience.
