Mr Aiyelabola has twenty (20) years post qualification experience spanning audit, manufacturing, trading, banking and financial services. He is an Associate Member of Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He commenced his professional career as a Youth Corp member working with Messrs. Peat Marwick, Ani Ogunde & Co. (now KPMG Audit). He later joined Unichem Nigeria Limited (a subsidiary of Bayer Pharmaceuticals Nigeria Limited) in 1989 as Financial Accountant. He started his banking career in 1991 with Nigerian Intercontinental Merchant Bank Ltd which later changed to Intercontinental Bank Plc. He moved to Hillcrest Merchant Bank which later changed to Global Bank Plc in 1995 as the Divisional Head in charge of Treasury and Financial Control and also a member of the bank's Executive Management Committee. Mr Aiyelabola is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered.
